Description: The Journal of East Asian Linguistics (JEAL) is a unique publication focusing on linguistic issues as they pertain to East Asian languages. Its main goals are to bridge the gap between traditional description and current theoretical research, and to encourage research that allows these languages to play a significant role in shaping general linguistic theory. The editors welcome submission of work carried out in any theoretical framework.
