Description: The journal contains articles, occasional papers, review articles, book reviews and notes in English, French and German dealing with the history, economy, culture and society of African and Asian countries in the broad sense. Oriental Archive is a refereed academic journal published every quarter. Continuously in print since its founding by the renowned Czech orientalist Bedrich Hrozny in 1929, it provides an important forum for scholars from the EU and other European countries. All articles submitted to the journal are peer-reviewed anonymously.
