To search texts with Philologica one must have signed up for free as a registered user.
Philologica provides machine readable texts and digital instruments for philological research.
It is intended that each text include:
1.) a Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) version based on the best critical editions;
2.) when appropriate, digital images of these editions correlated to the TEI version; and
3.) a full text search, retrieval, and analysis system for the TEI version

The THESAURUS LITERATURAE BUDDHICAE (TLB) is a quadrilingual presentation of Buddhist literature sentence by sentence in Sanskrit, Chinese, Tibetan and English.
The texts can be accessed
- sentence by sentence for continuous reading,
- by searching the text records, being sentences, for words and phrases in any of the four languages Sanskrit, Chinese, Tibetan or English,
