Current activities / projects:
Though trained in Classical and Buddhist Studies most recent work has been in humanities computing or the digital humanities. The focus is on providing digital texts and tools to faculty and post graduates engaged in Classical Indian and Buddhist Studies.
 Currently in prep is a new release of the DICT and HTML Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary (based on the Cologne Digital Sanskrit Lexicon) and a revised version of Tabulae: Tables of Contents for Indology and Buddhology (based on the Silva Content Management System). Also in prep is a platform for the analysis of Sanskrit texts marked up according to Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) guidelines - SARIT: Search and Retrieval of Indic Texts.
Short Vitae:
Advisory Board Member and List and Review Editor for H-Buddhism.
Formed Indica et Buddhica Limited (Company number: 2185898) a private consulting firm focusing on digital publishing, notably the provision of systems and services for textual analysis, text indexing and retrieval, text encoding, and enterprise content management - details are available through the New Zealand Companies Office.
Co-founder of Hounds 4 Homes Incorporated (Registration number: CC29400) a charity educating the community  about retired racing greyhounds and helping to place them in suitable homes - details are available through the New Zealand Charities Commission.
Invited to take a doctorate under Prof. Dr Michael HAHN, Fachgebiet Indologie und Tibetologie, Philipps-Universität Marburg. (Not taken up.)
