IeB – Publication workflow

  1. Submission: A publication proposal, and later a (provisional) manuscript, are submitted by an author or volume editor.
  2. Internal review: The proposal &c. are reviewed internally to see if they fit with our publishing plans.
  3. External review: The proposal &c. are sent out to three or four colleagues for review.
  4. Copyright Licence: If the (provisional) manuscript is accepted for publication the {Copyright Licence} is negotiated and executed by the author or volume editor and Indica et Buddhica.
  5. Editorial process: The complete manuscript is copy edited and indexed in consultation with the author or volume editor.
  6. Production: The copy-edited manuscript is typeset, reviewed and proofed in readiness for publication and global distribution.
